Our position
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require your consent before any non-essential cookie or similar technology is set, and the ICO is clear that refusing must be as easy as accepting. So the banner has two buttons of equal weight, neither is pre-selected, and nothing optional is set before you choose.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media trackers, session replay or fingerprinting of any kind. There is no third-party advertising on this site.
Strictly necessary — set without consent
These are exempt from the consent requirement because the service you asked for cannot be provided without them. They are stored in your browser and are not transmitted to us for analysis.

Rejecting analytics changes nothing about how the site works for you. No feature is withheld, no banner reappears on every page, and nothing is degraded.
Change your choice
Clearing your stored choice brings the banner back on the next page load, so you can decide again. This does not empty your bag.

Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings — look for “privacy”, “cookies” or “site data”. Blocking storage for this site will stop the bag from remembering what is in it, because that is where it is kept.
