Sterling silver reacts with sulphur in air and on skin, so it darkens over time. That is normal and reversible — a polishing cloth brings the surface back. Four flat faces polish back quickly with a cloth.

What it is
Box links are square in section, which makes the chain read as a continuous line rather than a series of loops. It is the most pendant-friendly chain here: the square profile stops a charm from twisting the chain as it hangs.
