Nickel release ≤ 0.2 µg/cm²/week — nickel-safe, tested to UK REACH limits. UK REACH restricts nickel release from articles inserted into pierced ears to 0.2 µg/cm² per week, and from articles in prolonged skin contact to 0.5 µg/cm² per week. Sterling silver reacts with sulphur in air and on skin, so it darkens over time. That is normal and reversible — a polishing cloth brings the surface back. Open the catch to polish the hidden section.
